Freedom Care was established in 2009, in response to the Black Saturday bush fires.
Whether you are low income, unemployed, under-employed, on a pension, or simply going through a rough patch –
we can help you with food assistance.

Opening Times
Tuesdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm
Wednesdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm
Thursdays: 9.30am - 2.00pm
Saturdays: 10.00am - 12.00pm
We are closed on public holidays.
Volunteers Needed:

Positions Available: Customer Service, Food Preparation, Kitchen Personal, Cleaners, Store Assistants, call in during our opening hours Tue, Wed & Thus 9.30am-2.00pm or Sat 10.00am-12Noon.

Do I qualify for assistance?
If you are on a low income, unemployed, Part time/casual-employed, a pensioner or are experiencing or have experienced a circumstance that is making it difficult for you to make ends meet, please visit us.
What type of assistance is available?
Help you with – fruit & vegetables, bread, groceries (varies subject to availability). We can certainly meet some of your weekly needs.
Can I get cash?
No cash payments or vouchers are given out.
No cash is kept on the premises.
Can I volunteer with Freedom Care?
We are staffed purely by volunteers, and welcome more ‘hands on deck’, whether in a purely voluntary capacity or as part of your WFTD/DOJ program. Please send an email to admin@freedomcare.org.au or call in during our opening hours.
